Forum: Vote: Removal of statute(s) by inactitivity
Note: This topic has been unedited for 4031 days. It is considered archived - the discussion is over. Do not add to unless it really needs a response.

My intention with this topic is to remove flagships from users who don't edit regularly — I mean almost never. For this, I propose that every user with any statute who didn't have 60 edits in 6 months (10 per month) will be automatically demoved of his/her flagships. This voting ends in one week, at January 14. UnMeta doesn't have any voting policy, so for this one I propose 3/4 of votes for support (for proposal's acception). -- Slade [talk] @ 00:40, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Why that? There doesn't happen very much here. I don't see you folks very much here either... CartoonistHenning 18:32, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
What are you saying? I am the user with the biggest number of contributions in this project, and UltraJohnny is the only active bureucrat. It isn't a "Portugese conspiracy", it's just to demove flagships from users who doens't use it (in some cases, for years!). If the proposal wins, only three admins will remain: Carlb (automatically, as the project's owner and sustainer), you, CartoonistHenning, and UltraJohnny. The desysoped users can reapply for adminship later, anyway. Slade [talk] @ 22:19, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Slade, you meddling troll, I don't see how you have the guts to come back here after you cheated me into making you a burocrat and you fired all the admins. You do remember, don't you? You were digracefully fired. D. G. Neree 23:33, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
I can't understand why you absolutely want to have a desysoping... You mention that they aren't active, but it's just symbolic. They are sysop here because they are trustable users on their uncyc-project(s) | CartoonistHenning 23:43, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Well, I don't participe of no one conspiration, I only vote in my position. UltraJohnny, o super-herói! 23:45, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

It's not a active site so admins seem to be dead. I think I made clear 2 Slade that we are not. This is the second time he tried to get all admins gone and I for one am fed up.. Alzheimlich 23:56, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Ladies I will keep my vote, my first vote because I want to be heard. Firstly I am a sockpuppet, but my boss does not have an account here. So my vote is validated. According reasons already explained by DG Neree and Alzheimlich have given the verdict. I need not say anything, just vote. Kohl for example is an user banished infinitely on Desciclopédia, o dont think that kind of user is a trustable on desciclopédia... you know? But its jus an example. I'm Desciclopédia's Sysop and my name nickname is Jonny Screamer 06:22, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

How in God's sake can one of the founders of DP be untrustable? This is a internal discussion on DP. If you want to move the quarreling on UnMeta, so be it, but please don't involve the whole community with it or take part with a kind of voting which doesn't make any sense | CartoonistHenning 10:48, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
You have all been led around the bend by Slade. Kohl made Desci into what it is. Slade, who is now rightfully banned from this site has since the beginning tried to seize power for him and/or his band of trolls. You have all been tricked and I regret very much that UltraJohnny is behind him. This makes him very suspect in my eyes. D. G. Neree 12:30, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

First of all, thank you for asking me about it. Feel free at any time to ask me anything related to this issue.

About what is going on, its a very long and complex issue started in 2008. Anyway, the best resume i can make out of the whole story is this:

In 2008, a group of users tried to take over Desciclopedia in order to achieve more power for themselves. They did it by trying to modify the rules of the website in order to ellect one of them as a Bureacrat (even though the rules clearly stated that Bureaucrats were not ellected, but were chosen among the oldest sysops). Their plan failed and the users disregarded their plan.

They did not stop though, and kept trying to gain power throug the sysop ellections by trying to veto sysops that were not of their group to be ellected. In order to do that, they caused flamewars and made use of sock puppets (as seen on Dairyuu´s ellection, which they tried to veto) and zombie users (as can be seen in Chernobyl´s ellection, which they also tried to veto)

In early 2009 Slade tried the UnMeta Coup, where he tricked D.G Neere to grant him bureaucrat status and then proceeded to remove all the other users user rights just to take out my user rights (and by doing that, he damaged other users in order to sustain his personal vendetta against me).

In Mid 2009 Slade (who had been banned from desciclopedia due to insulting another user in 2008) went back to desciclopedia. The group that attempted the 2008 coup got stronger and more organized. They then decided to infiltrate spies on the groups that disagreed with them and publically smear the users that they disliked. They managed to create a "fear climate"

After that, they started to slander me with other users in private MSN chats and get them on their side. They did this during the entire year of 2009, while at the same time they attempted coups on desciclopedia.

They managed to force several major rule modifications. They changed the proportion of votes needed to approve a rule, changed the way bureaucrats were nominatedand changed rules regarding user rights. That gave them enourmous strenght. With that force and their smear campaign they managed to remove the sysop status from some users, like Dragomaniaco, who lost hist sysop status in a trap.

They also managed to fraud some ellections, including the Chernobyl sysop ellection. This ellection was actually the pretext for all the changes i mentioned. They dug out zombie users and sock puppets to vote against him. Then there was a checkuser request and the socks were detected. The result of the ellections was delayed for several months due to their presure

During Chernobyl´s poll, i asked several persons to vote for him (but never threatened anybody, just asked and if they said no, i would leave). The trolls turned it into a political scandal, claiming it was imoral and made a rule against asking for votes.

i refused to grant the sysop status at first to chernobyl since there was an ongoing investigation and a lot of pressure on the issue.

Also, there was a gathering of users against the ellection fraud perpetrated by the trolls that made a meeting on msn. I was on it. Slade somehow infiltrated the chat and got the logs. Nothing was illegal in that logs. Its contents were basically me claiming that we cant allow the fraud to happen and that we should try to guarantee Chernobyl´s ellection by talking to other users and explaing them what was going on. But the logs were leaked and used to smear me, claiming i was unethical. (and that was the pretext for the rule changes i mentioned earlier)

After 3 months, the issue was forgotten since the coup group got what they wanted (Chernobyl was without sysop status, even though he won the ellection)

Then Firewolf msged me and organized a movement to grant sysop status to Chernobyl. I supported it and help planne out a way for it to be carried. Carlb granted the status to Chernobyl and i later justified it on the forum. Chernobyl was rightfully ellected, but the way i acted was not right and i sincerely regret it. Although havent broke a rule, it was also not the right way to enforce justice. I had to act dirty in order to prevent them from frauding that ellection.

The logs shown by Alhazred are talk logs betwhen me and Firewolf about that issue. Firewolf, for some reason (i believe that he might have done it in order to get a good image with the coup group, who knows have de facto control over desciclopedia), decidied to make those logs public and smear me as responsible for it (even though he was the one that created the movement to grant Chernobyl´s the status he was voted for and he was the one that convinced me of joining it). Alhazred used these logs, toguether with a log where i claim Alhazred to be manipulative and dishonest (an opinion i never hid from anyone and that i had before publically stated on Desciclopedia) to demand my renounce from my user rights.

That kind of smear campaign against me has been going on forover 2 years, and it has made my presence in Desciclopedia unsustainable. Alhazred topic made me fed up with that, and then i renounced to all my user rights, as asked and stated that i backed up my opinion of Alhazred and that the Firewolf logs were true, but out of context (as they were heavily edited in order to hide the fact that Firewolf was the one who convinced me of his idea) and that i have never tried to coherce him into anything, but merely talked to him about my opinions and in one ocasion asked him if he was going to change his vote.

It was a de-sysop poll. Firewolf voted "Neutral" and wrote that he would change his vote if the sysop in question posted in that topic. The sysop did it. Then i went on MSN and asked Firewolf if he would change his vote now that the sysop posted. He said no. I said ok and started talking about another subject. I cant see where i coherced him, but it was used to smear me.

That made me renounce my user rights and leave. After that, i was imediatelly banned for stating that i felt betrayed by UltraJohnny and Firewolf and said that the coup group had created an "iceberg of shit" on Desciclopedia.

I know the text is long, but thats the best way i could make a short version of the entire story. there is much more in in it tough and i sincerely invite you to ask me any questions or talk to me about it if you would like to know more. You can get my MSN with D.G Neree or Alzheimlich at any time.

Thanks for your attention.

I would recommend you all to take notice of the following. Thank you. With kind regards, Alzheimlich 17:33, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

First of all, I'm unauthenticated as I'm not at home.

If I'm permitted, I would like to answer few lines.

Well, I couldn't organize anything, as I'm just a common user at DP, so I don't have enough power to do that. I passed all the logs to a neutral sysop, Tyler Durden, in a moment I felt betrayed by Kohl, who I considered as a friend, but only called for me when he needed my vote, and also attacked many of the old users as evil, even though he was the only one to argue that. And everything he said me was a copypasta he did to all the newbie users "John Doe is evil, etc." This made me rage, as some users, from the same time from the one I registered on Desciclopédia, said that Kohl did the same thing to them: call when needed, always brainstorming.

Nothing was edited, and you can call anyone from Desciclopédia to translate any log, completely, to show that anything was edited, or giving the impression of something other than what really happened.

I could have skipped some point, or hadn't properly explained something, but that's because I don't have enough time. I also know that it's likely you trust more in Kohl, as he's known here since 2006, but I ask you to be unbiased.

Thanks for your time, Fire_Wolf_br 20:01, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Not politics, cazzo!

I am sorry, but this is me smelling of politics and I think the problem, which was strong in co-brother project, seems to have taken dramatic here as well.

I do not see what was the third dissenting vote, as apparently the person did not sign the same, and that those who voted would sign the same.

Kohl had problems there in the project co-brother for political reasons, like wanting to keep support Straczynski, who had a user antisocial conduct to me as an administrator, something that was unfortunate.

I also regret that the group wants to flock to the politics here from the desciclopédia, always looking for more and more power and I see the issue addressed here as something in which I refrain to discuss, because I think the discussion will not lead to anything.

And think well ... Many of these Brazilian refrain from discussing the hostile relations that are having the external desciclopédia, just remember the discussion here now, when it really matters to the gang.

It's terrible this scenario and for that reason I am here.

Enough hypocrisy.

This vote should be eliminated, and Mr. Slade has created numerous conspiracies against Kohl and other sysops of Desciclopedia. He and his allies as well as make a coup there looking to get involved here as well. If it is a defeat they want is what they will.
