They're different languages. "Slovenščina" is Slovenian, "Slovenčina" or "Slovenská" is Slovak. Confusing, eh? 85.30.155.6 15:56, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Any reason why the license for this one was set to something incompatible with both en: and cs:? That does make it all but impossible to move existing articles over without violating authors' copyright.

Sorry I absolutely disagree with address! http://oxy.pedia.ws/wiki/ - http://bg.oxypedia is preferable--Seraphita 23:48, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Uncyclomedia does not own that address, nor can you get bg.oxypedia(but you could get oxypedia.bg) because of the rules of domain names on the internet. The options that you have without paying for one yourself are bg.uncyclopedia.info, bg.uncyc.org, oxy.pedia.ws, and oxypedia.wikia.com(it's a seperate host, but you could have gotten it). --Jacques Pirat 04:46, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
I suppose oxypedia.awiki.org could also be a free option - the domain exists, but we haven't made a clever use of it yet. The name 'oxypedia' itself is already taken in .com and .org but should be available in various other top-level domains including http://oxypedia.net - It would cost about $10/year to register if Seraphita wants to own it? The name servers (currently sophia.uncyclomedia.org 64.86.165.249, oscar.uncyclomedia.org 209.139.209.234) and web server configuration will need to be updated once a name is selected for this project. --Carlb 13:24, 1 July 2007 (UTC) 00:31, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank you all! I am a little doubtiful. http://oxypedia.wikia.com/ is not free?--Seraphita 22:20, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
It's free, BUT it's hosted by Wikia and not Uncyclomedia, so before the wiki starts up you have to be approved by the community first. It shouldn't be too hard to get it considering the Latin Uncyclopedia is hosted there, so it's worth a shot, though I do think that it'd be better if you just stuck with what you have (it's now bg.uncyclopedia.info, oxy.pedia.ws, and bg.uncyc.org). --Jacques Pirat 00:36, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
In any case, http://oxypedia.com has already been taken over by oxy morons. It's therefore not available.
http://oxypedia.uncyc.org should also work... would that be suitable? --Carlb 00:55, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Seraphita said on his/her Uncyclopedia talkpage he/she did not think this is suitable and wanted a Wikia wiki. --Jacques Pirat 23:39, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

This is an oddball case, as the translation from en: -> x-pig-latin: can be done reliably by automated means. Do you propose mirroring existing content with some form of automated conversion, or do you start with a blank wiki and create everything manually? --205.150.76.41 01:19, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
I could do either one. I don't have any way of automaticlly changing all mirrored articles, but I could probably do a blank wiki if needed. Actually, the external link would be a great help to translate. It would take some effort, but I could probably do it. 24.76.98.151 15:53, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
The external link includes the PHP source code for the programme that does the translation. That could be used to provide some sort of automatic translation. The Serbian mediawiki has a tab which, when clicked, translates the character set to "latinica" instead of Cyrillic. Couldn't something like that be made using the igpay atinlay code? --205.150.76.41 20:49, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Oppose. This language is rather silly to have its own wiki, if you can even call it a language. It's just a method of encryption. The only difference between it and modern English is the spelling. There is not a gramamaretical difference, and so it doesn't deserve its own wiki. --Jacques Pirat 19:18, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
