Requests for logos
- This page is for requesting new logos or modifications to existing logos for your wiki projects, as well as favicons if you need them. Chances are if you need a new main project logo you'll need a new favicon too.
If you're here, you're probably already well aware of how to update the wiki logos. If you're not, the process is simple:
- Format the image to the right size to fit in the corner (we'll do that for you here)
- Upload it over the local File:Wiki.png (and favicons over the local File:Favicon.ico)
- Protect the image.
Things such as colour changes, size/format fixes, text/language changes, style updates, even entirely new logos are all fair game, though if you have some idea what you're after that will probably help.
Anyone is welcome to make a logo, however if the result is not up to the requesters' expectations, they should not feel obligated to use it and may request changes or that someone else try, or even change their minds about the entire thing, with no hard feelings harboured. Or else. These are logos, after all. These things are Very Important.

Upgrade for Moldovan Uncyclopedia[edit]
In the begin, this wiki was called Uichipedia, but later, it was named as Neciclopedia (current name). I suggest a logo similar to Juokopedija (Lithuanian Uncyclopedia), but using the Republic of Moldova's flag and the name wrote in a Latin alphabet version (big text)->(Neciclopedia) and below, a version in Moldovan Cyrillic alphabet (small text)->(Heчиклoпeдйа). vu'wI’RENAN377contributions

Other Information[edit]
- For subprojects existing in namespaces (such as UnNews on Uncyclopedia-en and Incitables on Inciclopedia), the process is effectively the same as for the main wiki logo, but instead of uploading it over the Wiki.png file, upload it to whatever other name you prefer and add this to the local MediaWiki:Common.css:
body.ns-<namespace number> #p-logo a, body.ns-<talkspace number> #p-logo a { background-image: url( <Image URL> ) !important; }
- Where <namespace number> and <talkspace number> are the numbers of the namespace and its talk namespace (viewable in the local Special:Namespaces on Uncyclomedia wikis) and <Image URL> is the full url to the image (not the file page).
- The source files for some of the (mostly English) Uncyclopedia logos are available in xcf format here: Wiki.png (is) (pt) (simple), forum, game, howto, unbestiary, unbooks, uncycloversity, unnews, unreviews, unscripts, untunes, why? in the hopes that they will be useful.
- Potato favicon is here, using the font Roman Uralic, though any decent serif should work just fine.
